Reverend John Buchko, 78, of Somerset, went home to be with the Lord on April 15 after a lengthy illness. Born June 8, 1938 in Cokeburg, PA to the late Mike and Anna (Wargo) Buchko of Atlasburg, PA. He grew up in Cross Creek, PA and graduated high school as the Valedictorian of his class. He later graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a degree in Physics, then, in an answer to a call to preach, went on to graduate from the Nazarene Theological Seminary at Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Divinity. Charles W. Harah, 75, of Latrobe, passed on April 11, 2017 at Latrobe Hospital. Born April 3, 1941 in Pittsburgh, he is a son of the late Merle and Helen (Jackson) Harah . He is also preceded in death by his wife Heather in 2012; sister Patricia Rodriguez; and brother Frank Harah. Charles is survived by his daughters Heather Bennett and husband Ron of Daytona Beach, FL and Shawna Johnson and husband Chris of Jones, OK; grandchildren Koby, Mikaela, and Kingston; brother Robert Harah and wife Debbie of Monroeville; and numerous extended family members. Charles was a veteran of the US Navy, and a retired employee of the Xerox Corp. with 35 years of service. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Friends will be received from 10 am until noon Saturday at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Somerset, and are invited to proceed to Union Cemetery in New Centerville for a graveside service.
