Dale E. Marker, 72, of Rockwood, passed on April 25, 2011 at Siemon Lakeview Manor.  Born September 7, 1938 in Summit Twp, he is the son of the late Milton and Mabel Marker.  He is also preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Roy, and Oscar Marker; and sisters Mary Lenhart and Dorothy Marker.  Dale is survived by his son Rick Marker and wife Erika of Somerset; daughter Tammy Baker of Mechanicsville, MD; grandchildren Lorelle and Bryce Marker and Tim and Brian Will; and sisters Mamie Estnick of Somerset and Rosalie Metheney of Garrett.  Dale was a mechanic for various local coal companies and retired as an employee of PennDot.  He was a veteran of the US Army.  He was a member of the former Center Evangelical Lutheran Church of Garrett.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating.  Friends will be received from 6-9 pm Tuesday at MILLER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, ROCKWOOD, where a service will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, pastor Sam Draper officiating.  Internment at Center Church Cemetery.
