Angel Louis Millet, 71, of Somerset, passed on January 27, 2018 at home. Born August 30, 1947 in Puerto Rico, he is a son of the late Basilio and Laura (Rivera) Millet. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gloria (Cortes) Millet; children Isaias Cruz and wife Elaine of Simpsonville, SC, Irving Cruz of Somerset, Angel L. Millet Jr. and wife Carmen of Patterson, NJ, Haydee Kaai and husband John of Waianae, HI, and Danny Millet of Clifton, NJ; 12 grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. Angel was a retired employee of the New Jersey Frame Molding Co. He also operated his own business, Reva Construction. He was a minor league baseball player in the Chicago White Sox organization, and continued to play in many recreational and semi-pro leagues over the years. Know as a very social man and good neighbor, he also enjoyed traveling, especially to visit family in Hawaii. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 1 PM at St. Peter’s Church in Somerset, Father Daniel O’Neill celebrant.
