Dorothy J. Barclay, 87, of Rockwood, passed on November 24, 2017 at The Patriot. Born June 2, 1930 in Rockwood, she is a daughter of the late Frank and Violet (Schrock) Barclay. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Donald and Clyde Barclay; sisters Doris Canada and Janet Sandusky; Aunt, and lifelong friend Eleanor “Betty” Snyder; nephew Donald Barclay; and great-niece Elizabeth Faulkner. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Sandy Stoltz (Tom), Mike Sandusky (Merry), Julie Christner (Bob), Beth Direnzo (Lou), Wendy Faulkner (Kevin), Patty Martin (Mark), Frank “Butch” Canada, Craig Barclay (Carla), Kirby Barclay (Sue), and Jill Shultz (Dale); and numerous great- nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a member of the Rockwood Church of the Brethren, and a longtime employee of the Somerset Shirt and Pajama Factory. She loved to watch the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates, and spend time with her nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Tuesday with a service to follow immediately at 7 PM at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Rockwood, Reverend Jay Christner officiating. Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
