Mary E. Knopsnyder, 77, of Rockwood, passed on September 1, 2017. Born July 11, 1940 in Somerset, she is a daughter of the late Orlo and Esther (Hoover) Pletcher. She is also preceded in death by her husband Alvin Knopsnyder; sister Wanda Judy; brother Sanford Pletcher; and her beloved dog Scruffy. Mary is survived by her son Jeff Knopsnyder and wife Karen of Rockwood; grandchildren Heather Knopsnder-McKenzie, Branden Knopsnyder, Jared Knopsnyder, Cheyanne Howe, and Nathan Church; great-grandchildren Genesis Knopsnyder and Jalisha McKenzie; brother Orlo Pletcher Jr.; and sister Mona Schmid and husband Christopher. Mary enjoyed knitting and crocheting, doing word puzzles, going for walks, riding motorcycles, and shooting. A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery, Pastor Don Judy officiating.
