STOUFFER

Thomas A. Stouffer Jr., 77, of Somerset, passed on April 17, 2017. Born April 9, 1940 in Bakersville, he is a son of the late Thomas A. Stouffer Sr. and Sarah (Weyand) Stouffer. He is also preceded in death by his sister Judith Brant. Thomas is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Craver) Stouffer; children Catherine Tims and husband John Sr. of Somerset, Christine Yoder and husband Kevin of Salem, OH, and Jodi Miller and husband Daniel of Somerset; grandchildren Cassidy and Kyle Yoder, and Christopher, Corey, and Chloe Miller; sisters Nancy Walker, Tomalee Will and husband Robert, and Janora Fochtman, all of Somerset; brothers Ed Stouffer of Alverton and Harry Stouffer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a retired employee of the Luther P. Miller Fuel Co. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and enjoyed golfing. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He liked to make everyone laugh, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, Pastor Ben Mandrick officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Faith Lutheran Church or the Somerset County Humane Society.

    Tom will be missed. I new him when he was young he would give his brother Ed and me a hard time and we would give him one to.
